Summary review of the procedure to obtain your STOTT PILATES® Certification
- Refer to the Exam FAQ’s (Frequently Asked Questions about STOTT PILATES® course exams) that you received during the course. Visit www.stottpilates.com or feel free to contact Chau Pham-Kid at chau@pilatessouthtexas.com should you have any additional questions.
- The student is required to take the course exam within six months of completing the last course date. (Refer to Exam FAQ’s of policies).
- Space is limited on Exam dates. Please reserve your date and time in advance with Chau Pham-Kid.
- As per STOTT PILATES® policies, it may be required that you be video taped during the Practical Examination to evaluate the STOTT PILATES® Instructor Trainer’s quality performance. Should you have any questions with regards to the video taping policies, please feel free to contact Chau Pham-Kid.
- Exam Prep Workshops are encouraged in order to increase the student’s potential to receive a passing average score of 80% (practical and written) for STOTT PILATES® Certification. A minimum score of 75% on each portion (practical and written) is required in order to be eligible for STOTT PILATES® Certification. Both of these requirements must be met in order to achieve STOTT PILATES® Certification. Chau Pham-Kid is a Fully Certified STOTT PILATES® Instructor Trainer. She received her STOTT PILATES® Full Certification in San Diego and Long Beach, California then her STOTT PILATES® Instructor Trainer certification and training at the STOTT PILATES® International Certification Center in Toronto, Canada. She travels to various locations in the United States and abroad to train other Pilates instructors the STOTT PILATES® methods and principles. Chau, a former professional modern dance performer and active certified Yoga instructor, became interested in Pilates as a fitness program to enhance her dance performance. Pilates improved her freedom of movement, core strength, flexibility, and posture while being a fitness program that was easy on her joints. Chau also has a Bachelors and a Masters degree in Engineering from The University of Tennessee, but she enjoys her new career as a STOTT PILATES® Instructor and STOTT PILATES® Instructor Trainer.
